Whether you are visiting Lubec to experience the natural tranquility of Down East, Maine, or wish to celebrate a special occasion with others, the Peacock House Bed and Breakfast has several commonly-shared spaces within which we hope you will feel right at home.

Enjoy the varied collection of books in our Library, as well as games and movies. The Gathering Room is a perfect place to meet the other guests staying at Peacock House. Make yourself at home! Our Living Room holds a well-used, much loved baby grand piano which we encourage our guests to play. The fireplace adds warmth when there is a nip in the air. Wireless Internet is also available at the Peacock House.

The Garden

Enjoy the fresh ocean breeze from the Bay of Fundy, while strolling through a brilliant display of perennials and annuals in our garden. Goldfinches are frequent visitors to our bird feeders, and bald eagles can often be spotted soaring overhead, traveling to and from local nesting areas.

Sit quietly in our Adirondack chairs, read a book, or take a nap in this peaceful setting. Our deck is the perfect spot for your lunch, afternoon tea, or an early evening glass of wine.
